About Dr. Shiv Talwar

Co-Founder, SHEN — Spiritual Heritage Education Network Inc.
President since 2000

Dr. Shiv D. Talwar is a visionary educator dedicated to integrating the wisdom of humanity’s spiritual and scientific heritage.

He holds degrees in Civil Engineering from:
• Punjab University, India
• Lehigh University, Pennsylvania
• University of Waterloo, Ontario

Shiv’s professional career includes teaching at Thapar College of Engineering (India) and serving as Coordinator of Civil Engineering at Conestoga College (Canada).

His journey into spiritual and ethical inquiry began in India during early-morning walks with his parents — conversations that shaped his worldview. This foundation deepened through school courses and mentorship from Swami Vishwatma Bawra, whose guidance continues to influence him profoundly.

Today, Dr. Talwar dedicates his life to researching, developing, and teaching the universal wisdom that fosters inclusion, consciousness, and care for all existence. His work is an offering toward a more peaceful planet and a more connected humanity.
