The Science of Yoga
Understanding the Science of Self-Realization
Service Description
Yoga is often taught as a set of practices—but at its core, it is a complete science of how human beings perceive, suffer, adapt, and awaken. The Science of Yoga is a modern, science-informed exploration of the classical yogic systems, approached through lived experience rather than belief or doctrine. Drawing from the teachings of Patanjali and other foundational yogic sciences, this class reveals how yoga functions as an integrated methodology for understanding the body, nervous system, attention, and consciousness. Across the series, we explore: • The Eight Limbs of Yoga as a functional map of human regulation and realization • Hatha Yoga as the science of preparing the body and nervous system • Kundalini Yoga as the intelligence of life energy and transformation • Nada Yoga as the science of vibration, sound, and inner listening Rather than philosophical abstraction, these teachings are presented as practical tools for understanding how inner conflict forms—and how clarity, stability, and freedom naturally emerge when the body and awareness are properly aligned. Each session includes teaching, guided reflection, and space for inquiry and questions. Attendance at every class is encouraged, but not required. Starting February 9th Held live online via Zoom Mondays · 8:00–9:00 pm Pay Per Class / Online Monthly Membership / In-Person Membership
